Discover Finance breakfast roundtable at L&G: Meet the firms and Y1 impact

41% of those who work in the Financial Services sector have a family member in the same sector, compared to a national average of just 12% [KPMG].

Last year a group of FS firms came together to tackle this: Together, we launched Discover Finance, a rotational work experience for sixth form students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, with the aim of supporting more diverse talent into the sector.

Year 1 has seen 200+ students at L&G, Aon, Phoenix Group, LGPS Central, Novuna, Principality Building Society and City of London Corporation.

Join us for data and learnings from year 1 – from demographic targeting to hiring outcomes – chat to peers in the sector, share your perspective about what change needs to happen and help shape what's next.
