Discover Tech Manchester 2027

Discover Tech Manchester is a two-day technology work insights programme designed to inspire young people and provide valuable exposure to careers in the technology sector.

Delivered in partnership with Cisco, the programme brings together leading employers from across the industry to help students explore the wide range of opportunities available within technology and digital careers.

During the programme, students will:

• Learn about the technology sector and future career pathways.
• Take part in interactive sessions led by industry professionals.
• Develop employability skills and gain valuable career insights.
• Connect with employers and hear directly from people working in technology-related roles.
• Visit an employer workplace on the second day of the programme, giving them first-hand experience of a professional technology environment.

Students will have the opportunity to visit one of our participating employers and gain a deeper understanding of different career paths within the sector.

Who Can Apply?

Discover Tech Manchester is open to students interested in learning more about careers in technology, digital innovation, cybersecurity, data, business technology, software, networking, consulting, and many other exciting areas of the sector.
